Preparation Method :

  • In a pan, heat oil over medium flame and add onions and sauté them until they are golden.
  • Add squid and sauté till all the moisture gets dried.
  • Mix in tomato ketchup, garlic, chilies, vinegar, turmeric, cumin, pepper and salt, and stir-fry briefly.
  • Remove from heat and serve hot.


  • 3 Onions, finely sliced
  • 12 Squid, cleaned and sliced into rings
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato ketchup
  • 5 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
  • 8 Green Chilies, sliced into rings
  • 2-3 tablespoons Vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  •  ½ teaspoon Black Pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons IDHAYAM Sesame oil
