Preparation Method :

  • Clean the squid and cut then drain well. Cut into square shape or round shape.
  • Mix the Squid with onion, tomato, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, green chilli, ginger garlic paste, salt.
  • Then cook in pressure cooker with enough water up to 3- 4 whistles.
  • Heat 3 tablespoon oil in a frying pan and add some curry leaves and 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder. Stir well.
  • Then add cooked squid and mix well.
  • Stir the squid till the masala dries up and become roast texture.
  • Serve hot with rice, roti , naan etc.


  • 500 grams Squid
  • 2 Onions
  • ½ Tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 Green chilli
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 ½ tablespoon Chilli powder  
  • Sesame oil
  • Curry leaves
