Preparation Method :

  • Combine all the ingredients for the marinade and marinate the fish in it for about 3-4 hrs.
  • Grease a large baking tray or casserole with oil, lay the fish in it, pour the marinade over and bake in a hot oven till golden brown.
  • Serve hot.


  • 1½ kg Whole fish, cleaned, washed, drained and incised
  • Cooking oil to grease

The Marinade    

  • 100 grams beaten Curd  
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic- green chilli paste
  • 2 teaspoon Tomato sauce
  • 2 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander-cumin powder
  • Few drops Red food colouring
  • Salt to taste
