Preparation Method :
- Stir the fish into the marinade and marinate for about 1-2 hours, in the refrigerator. Discard the marinade.
- Preheat the grill or oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas 5. Thread the fish on to soaked wooden skewers and place on an oiled rack or oiled baking sheet.
- Cook until opaque for about 5-10 minutes under the grill or in the oven, turning halfway through cooking.
- Drizzle with the lemon juice and serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 750 grams firm white fish fillets, rinsed and cut into medium cubes
- Lemon juice to serve
Marinade
- 2 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tablespoon low-fat yogurt, beaten
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, pounded
- 1 tablespoon gram flour
- ½ teaspoon carom seeds, pounded
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- 4 teaspoon IDHAYAM sesame oil
- ¾ teaspoon dried mango powder
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1½ teaspoon tomato ketchup
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1½ teaspoon lemon juice
- Freshly ground black pepper and salt, to taste
