SAVOURY FISH CUTLETS

Preparation Method :

  • Keep the bread soaked in milk for about one minute, squeeze out the excess milk.
  • Combine the bread, fish, one beaten egg, onion, chillies, coriander leaves, butter and mix well. Divide into 14-16 portions, shape into cutlets and keep aside.
  • Add pepper, salt to the remaining one egg. Dip each cutlet into it, then roll in the bread crumbs, shake off excess crumbs.
  • Fry in hot oil on both sides till well-browned. Serve hot with green chutney.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams Fish, cleaned, washed, boiled, deboned and mashed
  • 3 tablespoon Milk
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 50 grams Coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Butter (softened)
  • 100 grams Bread crumbs
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 Bread slice
  • Finely chopped Green chillies, to taste
  • Pepper and salt, to taste
  • IDHAYAM sesame Oil to fry
