FRIED FISH FILLETS

Fish ‘N’ Chips would be a great dish for kids as it basically contains fish and chips for their satisfaction level! For sure it would be self-fulfilling once your child smiles at you wishing that it could be served for the second time around!
Serves :

Preparation Time :
25 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Marinate the fish with the salt, pepper, mustard and lemon juice, at least for 15 minutes.
  • Beat the egg whites till stiff. Keep it aside.
  • Make batter with maida, egg yolks, milk, oil, soda, salt and pepper. Fold in the egg whites.
  • Spread bread crumbs in a plate. Dip the fillet in the batter.
  • Roll in bread crumbs and fry on medium heat till golden brown.
  • Garnish with the chopped parsley or coriander. Serve the fish with Tartar sauce. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams fish fillet 
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice 
  • 100 ml milk 
  • 100 grams plain flour
  • 2 eggs 
  • A pinch of baking soda
  • 2 tablespoon chopped coriander
  • Salt, Pepper and Mustard to taste
  • 175 grams fine white bread crumbs 
  • IDHAYAM sesame Oil for frying
