BEETROOT AND WALNUT PITAS

Preparation Method :

  • Toast small whole wheat pita breads.
  • Mix beetroot with arugula and lettuce, tossing in lemon juice, a pinch each of salt and pepper and oil.
  • Spread onion chutney on one half of each pita, split lengthwise, and add the mixed leaves.
  • Crumble goat's cheese and scatter over toasted walnuts.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 small whole wheat pita breads
  • 2 peeled and grated beetroot
  • 100 grams arugula
  • 100 grams lettuce
  • 4 tablespoon lemon juice
  • A pinch each of salt and pepper
  • 2 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon onion chutney
  • 100 grams goat's cheese
  • 2 tablespoon toasted walnuts
