OAT BARS

Preparation Method :

  • Preheat the oven .Grease and line a 8 inch square baking tin.
  • Melt the butter, honey and sugar in a saucepan over a low heat.
  • When the sugar has melted, add the peanut butter and stir until all the ingredients are well combined.
  • Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Press the mixture into the prepared tin and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and leave to cool in the tin, and then cut into 16 squares.

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing
  • 2 tablespoon clear honey
  • 100 grams demerara sugar
  • 50 grams no-added-sugar smooth peanut butter
  • 100 grams porridge oats
  • 25 grams ready-to-eat dried apricots, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
