Stop craving for new healthy recipes through preparing clam and abalone soup with Chinese mushrooms. This mouth-watering recipe can be easily cooked within 30 minutes. With its Chinese mushrooms, the recipe looks more delicious and enticing that no one can ever resist.

Preparation Method :

  • Soak the mushrooms in warm water for 15 minutes. Squeeze dry and discard the hard stalks, then cut the mushroom caps into quarters.
  • Bring the stock to the boil and add the abalone, chicken and ginger.
  • Simmer for 2 minutes, add the remaining ingredients and cook for a further 2 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with the spring onion and serve. 


  • 15 dried Chinese mushrooms
  • 2 litres stock 
  • 100 grams abalone, thinly sliced
  • 200 grams chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 inch piece of root ginger, diced 
  • 4 tablespoons dry sherry 
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 500 grams clams, drained 
  • Chopped spring onion, to garnish
