Preparation Method :

  • Cook the diced tomatoes, tomato puree, chicken stock with sugar, cumin seeds and olive oil in a pan and simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Add the balsamic vinegar, chopped green chilli and fresh coriander leaves. Stir well.
  • Crush the chips and sprinkle on the soup while serving.


  • 250 grams tomatoes, peeled, deseeded and diced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cumin seeds, ground
  • 10 -12 tortilla chips  
  • 250 grams tomato puree
  • ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • 500 ml chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar  
  • Salt and pepper to taste  
  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon coriander, finely chopped
