Sesame Fish Steaks is one of the great dishes that can be served right into your dining room! It can please anyone as well so you should include this into your collected recipes! This is not only a healthy recipe but a one-of a kind recipe to satisfy your hunger!

40 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Dry the fish with kitchen paper towels and place in a buttered baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the steaks or fillets with a pinch of salt and dot each with the margarine. Combine the remaining ingredients and sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture thickly over the steaks.
  • Bake, uncovered, in a preheated moderate oven for 20 minutes until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
  • Serve with hot bread and green salad.


  • 6 large fish steaks or fillets 
  • Salt
  • 50 grams margarine
  • 200 grams soft breadcrumbs 
  • Pinch of freshly ground pepper 
  • 8 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds 
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, crumbled 
  • 2 teaspoon salt
