Preparation Method :

  • Marinate the fish pieces in all the ingredients for about 2-3 hours.
  • Grill the pieces for a few minutes, baste several times with the leftover marinade.
  • Apply melted butter, when done and keep the pieces on an open flame for a second and serve.


  • 750 grams Boneless fish, cleaned, cut into thick small pieces, washed and drained
  • 50 ml Cooking oil
  • 2 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • Few drops Red food colouring
  • 2 inches of Ginger ground to a paste, strained and juice extracted
  • 7-9 cloves Garlic, ground to a paste
  • Pepper and salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoon Butter melted
