Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a frying - pan, add the onion and fry for 2 minutes or until softened.
  • Drop the onion to the side of the pan and add the steak. Fry for a minute or two on each side. Remove from the heat.
  • Halve the bread lengthways, spread over the horseradish sauce and then top with the onion, steak, tomato and lettuce. Season and serve immediately.


  • 90 grams flash-fry steak
  • 6-inch piece of french baguette
  • 2 teaspoon creamed horseradish sauce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon cooking oil
  • ½ onion, sliced
  • A few lettuce leaves
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
