Preparation Method :

  • Heat the butter and oil in a pan, stir in half the parsley, the chives and the garlic.
  • Cook for 1 minute, stirring, and then add the beans and season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  • Stir for 3 minutes over a gentle heat until the beans are piping hot, then add the grated cheese and lightly stir through.
  • Sprinkle with remaining parsley and serve.


  • 50 grams butter
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 4 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoon chopped chives
  • 2 clove garlic, crushed
  • 700 grams frozen green beans
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
