Preparation Method :

  • Heat the pan stir in the leaves mixture and add maize flour.
  • Cover and simmer on very low heat. Keep stirring for about 45-50 minutes. Remove and adjust the seasoning.
  • Serve hot garnished with large dollops of white butter.


  • 1½ tablespoon Maize flour  
  • 150 grams White butter
  • Leaves Mixture, Boiled together and Churn when cool
  • 750 grams Mustard leaves, roughly chopped
  • 225 grams Spinach, roughly chopped
  • 100 grams White radish leaves, roughly chopped
  • 30 grams Bathua, roughly chopped
  • 8-10 Green chillies, slit, deseeded
  • 2" Ginger, diced
  • 50 ml Mustard oil
  • 4 tablespoon Rice
  • Salt to taste
