Preparation Method :

  • Mash the grapes and add to it the sugar with water, lemon juice and cinnamon in a sterilized container.
  • Keep covered for a week, stirring twice a day. Squeeze the pulp to extract the juice through a strainer and discard the sediments.
  • Pour the liquid into sterilized glass jars and leave them undisturbed for a week or two.
  • Strain out the liquid from the top leaving the sediments undisturbed. Serve chilled.
  • Drop an aspirin tablet in the fermenting brew to prevent the wine from turning sour.


  • 1 kg Grapes
  • 1 kg Sugar
  • 1.5 litres water
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3-5 Cinnamon sticks
