Preparation Method :

  • Roast the chili spur peppers, shallots and garlic until cooked then set aside, cup    
  • Pound the ingredients in step 1 until smooth then add the mackerel and blend together until thoroughly mixed.
  • Season with fish sauce, lemon juice and sugar. Stir to mix the contents then add water and stir together. Spoon the contents on a serving dish and serve with assorted boiled vegetables.



  • 3 Mackerels, fried or grilled then filleted
  • 7 Chili spur peppers, cut into pieces
  • 50 grams Shallots, coarsely cut
  • 50 grams Garlic, coarsely cut
  • 2 tablespoon Fish sauce
  • 3 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2-3 teaspoon Brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoon Broth
  • Assorted boiled vegetables as desired
