Preparation Method :

  • Scoop out the fish organs and thoroughly rinse then sprinkle fish with salt.
  • Coarsely pound the garlic with turmeric together then smear over the whole fish. Set aside for 20-30 minutes.
  • Scrape off the garlic and turmeric and stir-fry it in oil until golden brown.
  • Fry the fish until it's cooked and crispy on both sides. Remove and place on a serving dish then garnish with crispy garlic and turmeric.



  • 3 Soft meat fish
  • 100 grams Small garlic cloves (unpeeled)
  • 2 tablespoon Turmeric, coarsely sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Ground salt
  • IDHAYAM Mantra peanut oil for frying
