Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil and fry the veggies. Add the rice and all the spices. Add four cups of water and add salt to taste.
  • Cover and cook till the rice and veggies turn tender. Serve hot.


  • 175 grams diced sweet potatoes
  • 150 grams mushrooms
  • 100 grams pumpkin pieces
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 2 tablespoosn Cooking oil
  • 75 grams spring onions
  • 300 grams rice, washed and drained
  • 4 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon palm sugar
  • 2 teaspoons soya sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
