SHRIMP CHILI PASTE

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Fry the shrimp meat, dried shrimp and peanuts until golden yellow and crispy (fry one ingredient at a time). Set aside.
  • Mix the fish sauce, palm sugar and tamarind juice together. Place over heat to simmer until slightly boiled then remove.
  • Roast the chili, garlic and galangal until crispy then pound together until smooth. Add the simmered mixture and gently mix the contents together.
  • Add the peanuts, dried shrimp, fired shrimp and fried garlic. Gently mix together and place on a serving dish. Serve with hot boiled rice.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams Minced shrimp meat 
  • 100 grams Dried shrimp    
  • 100 grams Peanuts, thinly cut    
  • 200 grams Large dried chili, cut into pieces    
  • 200 grams Garlic, thinly sliced    
  • 2 teaspoon Ripe galangal, slivered    
  • 2 teaspoon Fried garlic    
  • 50 grams Fish sauce    
  • 50 ml Tamarind juice    
  • 50 grams Palm sugar    
  • IDHAYAM Mantra Peanut oil for frying
