Preparation Method :

  • Fillet the catfish meat and remove the skin then finely chop. Spread across a plate and set aside for 10 minutes.
  • Fry the fish a little at a time in hot oil (set heat to medium) until crispy and golden brown. Remove from pan and drain the oil.
  • Mix the lemon juice, fish sauce, sugar and bird chili together.
  • Add the shallots, peanuts, mango and catfish. Lightly blend together then place on a serving dish Garnish with fried bird chili and sprinkle with coriander. Serve with lettuce.



  • 2 Grilled catfish
  • 100 grams Raw mango, slivered
  • 50 grams Shallots, slivered    
  • 50 grams Roasted peanuts    
  • 4 tablespoon Lemon juice    
  • 3 tablespoon Fish sauce    
  • 2-3 teaspoon Brown sugar    
  • 2-3 teaspoon Bird chili, coarsely chopped    
  • IDHAYAM Mantra peanut oil for frying
  • Dried bird chili, fried as desired
  • Lettuce as desired Coriander for garnishing
