TOM YUM KUNG SOUP

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :
40 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Mix reds curry paste along with 1 tbsp of chicken stock in a mixing bowl and stir in to the pan of boiling stock.
  • Slice the roots of lemongrass and mix it along with red chillies and mushrooms. Then add the fish sauce and salt to this mixture and stir well.
  • Tear lime leaves and add them to it. Add the deveined prawns to the pan along with lemon juice. Simmer till the prawns are finely cooked. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 24 small prawns, deveined
  • 1 litre chicken stock
  • 4 fresh red chillies, sliced
  • 6 fresh button mushrooms, halved
  • 1 teaspoon red curry paste
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 lemon grass roots
  • 6 lime leaves
  • 2 tablespoon juice
  • Salt to taste
