Preparation Method :

  • Mix all the ingredients except the wheat flour to the mashed dhal to form a mixture.
  • Divide the mixture into portions and shape each portion into a ball.
  • Roll each ball into the wheat flour. Deep fry the mung bean balls in batches.
  • Turn over so that all sides are cooked. Fry till crispy and serve as a starter.


  • 90 grams mung beans, washed, soaked, drained, cooked, drained and mashed
  • 2 tablespoons wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons chopped spring onions
  • 3 pods garlics
  • 3 chopped green chillies
  • Cooking oil for deep frying
  • Salt to taste
