Preparation Method :

  • To prepare roasted chili sauce: combine roasted chili paste, lime juice, light soy sauce and palm sugar together.
  • Taste and adjust to obtain a perfect balance of sour, sweet and salty. Put aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss lemongrass, roasted peanut and sesame seeds with the sauce.
  • Add crisp-fried shallot, mint leaves and spring onion. Toss to mix well. Taste and adjust to your liking.
  • Place the mixture onto each wild pepper leaf add wrap.
  • Serve immediately.


  • 200 grams lemongrass, thinly sliced
  • 100 grams roasted peanut, coarsely ground
  • 100 grams roasted white sesame seeds
  • 200 grams crisp -fried sliced shallot 
  • 200 grams mint leaves, shredded
  • 100 grams spring onion, sliced wild pepper leaves for wrapping

Roasted chili sauce

  • 5 tablespoons vegetarian roasted chili paste
  • 5 teaspoons lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons light sauce
  • 3 tablespoons palm sugar
