Preparation Method :

  • Mix garlic, lemon rind and juice, oil, mint, parsley and yogurt in a bowl. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Add the lamb and marinate for about 20 - 30 minutes.
  • Thread the lamb on to the skewers with pieces of onion and green pepper.
  • Cook under a preheated grill for about 10 minutes or until cooked its through.


  • 420 grams lean lamb, cubed 
  • 145 grams carton of low-fat natural yogurt 
  • 1 green pepper, de-seeded and cut into chunks 
  • 2 teaspoons Cooking oil
  • 25 grams chopped fresh mint
  • 25 grams chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed 
  • Grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 small onions, cut into wedges 
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
