Preparation Method :

  • Lightly beaten the egg, add fresh bean curd skin and season with light soy sauce, ground chili and sesame seeds. Stir to continue.
  • Pre-heat a pan of oil over medium heat until hot. Softly pour half of the egg mixture into the pan. Reduce to low heat.
  • When the omelet becomes golden on one side. Turn and cook until the other side is also golden and crispy.
  • Remove and drain. Repeat the same process with the remaining half.
  • Arrange the omelet on a serving platter or alternatively, top on hot steamed rice, garnish with coriander leaves, spring onion and red spur chili.
  • It goes well with hot chili sauce.


  • 2 eggs
  • 300 grams fresh bean curd skin, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons light sauce
  • 4 teaspoons ground roasted dried hot chili
  • 2 tablespoons black sesame seeds, roasted and seasoned
  • 500 ml Cooking oil
  • Coriander leaves, shredded spring onion and red spur chili slices for garnish
