CARROTS WITH MINT AND LEMON

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cook the carrots in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes, until carrots becomes tender .
  • Drain the water.
  • Melt butter in a pan and all the remaining ingredients along with the cooked carrot.
  • Mix it well at high heat for 1 or 2 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 350 grams new carrots, trimmed and scrubbed
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 lemon juice, finely grated rind
  • ½ tea spoon brown sugar
  • 7 gram butter
  • 1 table spoon chopped fresh mint
