Preparation Method :

  • Put the flour and a pinch of salt into a bowl. Rub in 40 grams of the butter until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
  • Add enough milk to form a soft dough. Roll out on a floured work surface to the size of 20.5 cm frying pan.
  • Melt the remaining butter in a frying pan and fry the dough on one side until golden brown for 8 minutes. Turn over.
  • Meanwhile, fry the bacon in its own fat with the onion until soft. Add the tomatoes, chutney and oregano. Season and simmer gently for a few minutes.
  • Spread the tomato mixture over the pizza, then sprinkle with the mozzarella.
  • Cook gently for about 10 minutes. Brown under a hot grill if desired.
  • Garnish with parsley and tomato.


  • 75 grams plain flour
  • Salt and pepper
  • 50 grams butter
  • 75 ml fresh milk
  • 100 grams streaky bacon rashers, rinded and chopped
  • 1 medium onion, skinned and sliced
  • 4 tomatoes, skinned and chopped
  • 30 ml tomato chutney
  • 15 ml chopped fresh oregano
  • 100 grams mozzarella cheese, grated
  • Fresh parsley and sliced tomato, to garnish
