Preparation Method :

  • In a large saucepan,melt the butter, add the leeks, onions and celery and cook on low flame until it softens.Do not allow it to brown.
  • Now, add the chicken stock. Season with salt and pepper to taste and bring to boil.
  • Then cover, simmer and cook until the vegetables are tender.
  • Allow to cool for a little while and then blend in a blender to make it a puree.
  • Transfer the puree  to the saucepan and mix the yogurt.
  • Adjust the seasoning according to taste and reheat on low flame without boiling.
  • Garnish with sliced fresh chives and serve hot.


  • 15 grams  of butter
  • 500 grams of leek, trimmed, sliced and washed
  • 1 medium-sized onion, skinned and chopped
  • 1celery stick, chopped and washed
  • ½ liter  of chicken stock
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 100 grams of natural yogurt
  • Sliced fresh chives for garnishment
