POACHED SALMON

10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Mix wine, water, dill, parsley and onions in a pan and cook on medium heat.
  • Put salmon fillets with skin-side down on the pan.
  • Cover and cook for 5 -7 minutes until it is cooked.
  • Season with pepper and salt.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5 kg salmon fillets
  • 250 ml dry white wine (a good Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 250 ml water
  • 1 yellow onion (thinly sliced)
  • 4 sprigs of fresh dill
  • 1 sprig of fresh parsley
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • salt to taste
